The Limpopo province is the most northern province in South Africa, bordering on Zimbabwe and Mocambique. It is a very beautiful part of the country where farming and game ranching are dominant. Due to this the accommodation that one will encounter is usually safari lodges with guest houses and bed and breakfasts found in the main towns. The climate in the Limpopo is enjoyably warm thus making it a pleasant year round holiday destination. One of the biggest attractions to this region is the Boaboab tree which is found exclusively in the Limpopo area. These trees are an awe inspiration often referred to as the ‘upside down tree’ and grow to immense proportions. The culture in the area is very big and there are many centers that put on display the various local arts and crafts.
