With a gas braai, kettle braai, Jacuzzi and large gazebo, the deck is sure to be the most lived in space during summer! The floating jetty also ensures that easy access for boats during any tide and guests have use of the canoes provided. A discreet, warm water outside shower allows for quick rinse-offs before relaxing in the Jacuzzi, jumping in the pool or enjoying the facilities inside. While it remains as sophisticated as the rest of the house, the family room exudes comfort and a sense of being home and offers a television with a PVR decoder streaming the Premium DSTV package, DVD player and air conditioner. The open plan, full kitchen overlooks this den and features filtered drinking water, a refrigerator with ice and water on demand, a gas hob with electric oven and a microwave oven, while the separate scullery/laundry offers a dishwasher, a washing machine and clothes dryer. The scullery/laundry opens onto a private courtyard, perfect for locking the family’s bicycles and other toys away! An easy staircase leads to a study nook and wireless connectivity to the Internet is available. A guest suite with queen sized bed and two king bedrooms, all en suite with private balconies complete the upper level. BH To Thesen Island from Cape Town At the 1st set of traffic lights coming into Knysna, turn right into Waterfront drive. You will pass a Caltex Garage on your RH side, carry on straight over the 1st set of traffic lights in Waterfront Drive, at the 2nd set of traffic lights turn right into Long Street and onto the causeway (Tait Marine will be on your left as you turn) and carry on over the Causeway Bridge. First left into the Thesen Island residential area, keep left to enter at the visitors boom gate through security right in front of you. To Thesen Island from Port Elizabeth Continue on the N2 past the Caltex garage and Kwikspar on your left and straight over 1st set of traffic lights. Pass through the 2nd set of traffic lights at the Provincial Hospital on your right. Just before the 3rd set of traffic lights, take the slipway to your left and turn into Waterfront Drive (Police Dog Unit will be on your right) Continue along the road, past Fruit and Veg on your right, until you get to a set of traffic lights, turn left into Long Street and onto the causeway (Tait Marine will be on your left) and carry on over the Causeway bridge. First left into the Thesen Island residential area, keep left to enter at the visitors boom gate through security right in front of you.
