Our cottage is fully equipped in order to give you that home away from home experience. In the cottage you will find two bedrooms, a double and a twin with en-suite bathroom (only shower), a small kitchenette with a gas hob and fridge. The cottage is serviced everyday by our friendly staff.

We also offer our guests undercover braai facilities, a boma and a hammock on the stoep. Several fine, fully licensed restaurants are within 9 km’s from Aleandrii in the town De Rust.Come and enjoy the clean, fresh air of the Little Karoo, while exploring the beauty and experiencing the tranquillity of the region.

Location

Aleandrii Farmstay is located close to the town of De Rust, which is very centrally located - only 35km from Oudtshoorn and approximately 90km from George. It is also surrounded by historical towns like Uniondale, Calitzdorp and Prince Albert. There are a number of wine routes to cellars that produce their own wines.

For the more adventurous travellers out there, you will find cycle routes from 23km to 96km in and around De Rust. The Stompdrif Dam is also near to De Rust for those who enjoy fishing or canoeing. Allow Aleandrii to be an integral part of your Little Karoo experience.Please note you will need a 4x4 vehicle to reach the cottage. De Rust forms part of and is close to some of the most scenic routes in the Little Karoo.

Directions

Approximately 5 km outside De Rust, driving in the direction of Oudtshoorn, you will find the Oude Muragie turn-off on your right. Turning right, you drive another 4 km, passing beautiful olive and ostrich farms, until you arrive at the sign indicating that you have arrived at Aleandrii Farm.
