To sleep in a tree-house realizes one of the fantasies of childhood. Erected in a 250 sq km private wildlife estate bordering the Hwange National Park is the luxurious and unique Sikumi Tree Lodge. The Lodge overlooks a waterhole. On golden afternoons zebra and elephant come to drink bringing dust that hangs against the copper coloured horizon. At night lions may pad across the grass as jackals wail mournfully at the stars. The lodge complex consists of 13 tree houses set within a forest of Mangwe and Acacia trees. All lodges are under thatch in the true tradition of a bush experience.
