Shingalana Lodge Description
This family-owned establishment opened its doors in 1997. The Lodge with all its charm and hospitality is run by owners Bill and Denise Gough assisted by a well-trained, professional team. Having travelled extensively throughout Europe, Africa, the Far East and South America we have captured the diversity of many cultures. Our beautiful home has since been infused with the creative passion of our travels. Our home has a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, full of books, music, good wine and home-cooked meals. We love socialising and enjoy a glass of red wine. We cater for both smokers and non-smokers. Surrounded by a beautiful garden with mature tropical trees and a splashing fountain, it is a great get-away retreat, where roses, green lawns and a cool blue pool sparkle in a luscious garden. The garden is also home to abundant indigenous bird species. Fern plants, frangipani, fresh lemons and herbs, all add to the soothing fragrance of this environment. It is quite simply, idyllic. The unrivalled hospitality makes every stay an unforgettable experience to all guests, both local and international. Located in the peaceful suburb of Blairgowrie, just two blocks from public transport, the lodge is a great base from which to explore the surrounding areas.
