Pin Oak Country House is a 5 bedroom self-catering country escape situated on the outskirts of the village of Underberg in the KwaZulu Natal Midlands. Settle in, take in the beautiful views and fresh berg air and ....relax Kitchen and Living Areas Find a cosy nook on the verandah where you can enjoy a good book or indulge in the luxurious comfort of our open plan lounge and dinning room area which has a wide screen TV with limited DStv channels available and music system, beautifully appointed antique furnisher and pictures. The Kitchen consist of all the modern bells and whistles in amongst beautiful pieces of old Oregon furniture, coffee machine, tumble dryer, microwave, dishwasher, cutlery and crockery and kettle. Downstairs Bedrooms The two en-suite Bedrooms downstairs both offer luxurious queen sized beds. These beautifully appointed rooms will offer you peaceful sleep and calm surroundings. One en-suite offers a shower and the other a Victorian en-suite bathroom, spaciously designed, where you can enjoy a candle-lit bath and relax in this old world comfort. Upstairs living Area The rustic wooden staircase leads to another level of paradise. On entering the landing you will discover jackets & scarves, which you may borrow for a chilly winter morning stroll, before settle into a hearty breakfast. The upstairs Country lounge is a cosy corner to put up your feet and listen to some beautiful music or watch TV whilst you enjoy each others company, or just unwind with your own thoughts dancing through your mind. Upstairs Bedrooms Our third bedroom is spacious and offers two separate beds with additional pull out beds which means this room can sleep four people. It has a walk-in cupboard and en-suite bathroom with a shower. The fourth bedroom is beautifully appointed with all the comforts of a country retreat, this stunning bedroom offers panoramic views, and luxurious queen sized bed, stylishly appointed with an en-suite bathroom which has a bathtub built for two! Honeymoon Suite Our Honeymoon Suite is VERY spacious and delightfully appointed, with a queen size bed, top quality linen, towels and finishing touches. The magnificent bedroom opens onto a deck with spectacular breathtaking views, one lies in bed and looks onto snowy layered mountains in winter and majestic Drakensberg views in summer, all framed by the classic English garden and roses. The luxurious en-suite bathroom is candle-lit with huge mirrors, a huge romantic bathtub for both of you, double hand-basins and large table top area and corner shower. Pure Indulgence.

From the N3 highway take the R617 at Howick. (1 and half hours from Howick) Travel through Boston then Bulwer and you will reach Underberg Village. Travel through the village. You will see the Country Club on the right hand side. Turn left opposite the country club into Link Road, (dirt) and immediately right into Ridge, round a sharp corner at the top of the road you will veer right at the graveyard. Turn left at the end of the graveyard onto a track. This is Pin Oak Lane! Travel up the lane past the wooden house on the left (Mamma Bears) and Pin Oak Place is the next house on the left, where Janet will be waiting to receive you.
