The lodge offers luxury thatched self-catering chalets each comprising of a double-bedded master bedroom with satellite TV and en-suite bathroom, twin-bedded second bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a loft room with twin beds. A cosy lounge with dinning area, satellite TV, wood burning fireplace, and large open plan fully equipped kitchen with, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, stove, crockery and cutlery. Every chalet has its own spacious veranda and private braai area where guest can take in the awe-inspiring mountain vistas and Oliphant's River Valley. Nestled amongst the Cederberg Mountains amidst citrus orchards, fields of rooibos, buchu and wildflowers this quaint hillside lodge captures the breathtaking scenery of the natural landscape.

The Cederberg is the rocky, 100 km long range mountains that rises splendidly above the vineyards and citrus groves of the Oliphant’s River valley The Maltese Cross The mountains are a magnet for hikers, climbers and lovers of the nature. Main access is via the road east from a point 30 km’s beyond Citrusdal, which take you over the Niewoudt Pass - fine views along the way - to the peaceful and most attractive Algeria forest station. 250 km network o paths enable you to explore the wilderness area with relative ease, but do make sure you go out armed with a forestry map showing the routes.
