Bask in the glorious warmth of a roaring log fire while watching the mist roll gently across the surrounding countryside. Enjoy a sociable occasion in our cosy Knight and Boar pub and restaurant with an open hearth ablaze on cold misty days. Summers are comfortably warm with an ever present mountain breeze. The self-catering chalets are located on the 608 hectare farm, Treurfontein, on an escarpment seven thousand feet above sea level. There is a tar road to the front gate. Several species of game such as Oribi, Blesbuck and Wildebeest and plenty of bird life abound. Weather conditions vary from cold winters to moderate summers. In close proximity, are the Badplaas hot mineral water springs (approximately 25 kilometres), the Sudwala Caves and the Kruger National Park.
