Melville Meerkat Description
MellvilleMeerkat promises a comfortable and memorable stay in Johannesburg, South Africa. The house itself is original Melville with wooden floors and pressed ceilings. Each room is filled with antiques, and the beds decked in fresh cotton percale. A wine and a book collection are housed in the dining room where guests are welcome to read at leisure. (Many of the books are first prints and/or rare editions, and some are for sale). Parking is available on the premises. Guests can be collected from OR Tambo International Airport, Park Station and the Gautrain. Internet access is available and all rooms are heated and equipped with full Digital Satellite TV. The hosts are experienced travelers around South Africa and will advise guests on trips in an around Johannesburg as well as some very remote attractions throughout South Africa. We offer seasonal trips to the Richtersveld, Kruger Park, Pilanesburg, Namaqualand flowers and the Waterberg. BMW GS Adventure, tours trips and training are also available through our Guest House.
