Manor on the Bay was built in 1862 and is situated in Gordon?s Bay, one of South Africa?s top tourist destinations. At this beautiful Manor, understated luxury and unreserved hospitality is a first and lasting impression. Extra luxuries include toiletries, pure cotton linen, gowns, pool towels and laundry services. Breakfast is served at the swimming pool or in the dining room! A snack menu is available throughout the day. Dinner on request. Braai facility available. We also have an inhouse massage room as well as a conference facility for 20 people. Quality restaurants are within walking distance and golf-courses, hiking-trails, shopping malls and more white beaches are easily accessible. Horse-riding, scuba-diving, picnic-baskets and sunset cruises can be arranged for on request. Whale watching from our patio is possible between the months of August and November.

Hanel van Reenen 117 Beach Road Gordon's Bay 7140 Directions to Manor on the Bay Guesthouse From Cape Town International Airport: Take the N2 turn off to your left, just outside the airport ? direction Somerset West. Stay on the N2 for about 25 min (through Somerset West). Take the turn off to your right which indicates Gordon?s Bay, R44, Kleinmond. This is the last turn off before you start the climb up Sir Lowry Pass. (Make sure not to take the R 44, Strand turn-off.) In Gordon?s Bay: Carry on with that road until you get to a T-junction (facing a fish & chips caf?). Turn right and immediately left into Sir Lowry road. Carry on until you get to another T junction where you turn left into Beach Road. You'll have the sea on your right. Carry on for 500m. Passed the Van Riebeeck Hotel , up a small hill, passed a little church on your left. Manor on the Bay is about 150m from the church , on your left. A black and white board with our logo will indicate the guest house. Go up the ramp and you?ll find the security gates where we?ll open up for you. Lookout for the 2 big palm trees in our garden. From George / Hermanus: Follow the N2 down Sir Lowry's Pass. Take the R44, Kleinmond, Gordon's Bay turn-off to your left. This is the first turn-off at the bottom of the pass. Follow: In Gordon?s Bay (above) From Stellenbosch: Take the R310 from Stellenbosch, direction Somerset West. Take the first turn-off for the N2, George (just before the Somerset Mall). Stay on the N2 for about 10 min (through Somerset West). Take the turn off to your right which indicates Gordon?s Bay, R44, Kleinmond. This is the last turn off before you start the climb up the Sir Lowry Pass. (Make sure not to take the R 44, Strand turn-off.)
