We are not doing him a favour by servicing him - he is doing us a favour by giving us a opportunity to do so.” - Mahatma Gandhi - Lé Mahi may sound French, but it is a self-converted Afrikaans word, “lê maar hier” meaning; “to lay down here” and that is exactly what we want you to do – lay down all your concerns and enjoy your stay here! We are not a standard Guest House with the standard Guest House look; all of our 4 rooms each have their own unique identity with particular attention to detail. Nor are we trying to be a house away from your home; that would not be possible! We did however create a colorful and warm environment to make you feel welcome. Here is a space were you can relax, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life either if you are on a holiday or in our area for work related business. Le Mahi are located an easy 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach (850m) and centre of the town where you will find lovely restaurants and shops. Le Mahi B&B Guest House offers 4 private en-suite bedrooms with very good quality mattresses and the beds are dressed in fine percale linen, as we know how important a good night sleep is! You have a choice of either Classic or Luxury rooms, the Luxury being more spacious. Two Classic rooms are on the ground floor, each with its own entrance leading to a beautiful garden. One Classic room offers you the choice of either a King sized- or two Single beds. The two Luxury room’s upstairs offer partial sea views from their private patios. TV’s in all rooms’ offers M-net, Movie Magic, various Sport-, Discovery- and CNN News channels. Small comfortable things such as coffee and tea facility, hairdryer, heater and fan as well as wireless internet for your computer are standard. To spoil you a bit, complimentary chocolates and sherry are provided in the rooms. Also available for the exclusive use of our guests; • A desktop computer should you need to send a quick e-mail. • Delicious rusks, coffee and tea in the kitchenette are complimentary and here you can prepare a light snack if you which. • Lounge to sit back and read or watch DSTV (Satellite TV) and a dining area that leads to a wooden deck in the garden. • An outside braai (BBQ) is our newest addition to the Guesthouse.

Langebaan is 130 km from Cape Town and Cape Town Airport on the West Coast of South Africa. Various historic and nature heritage sites are easy accessible from our Guest House. The Lagoon of Langebaan is a proclaimed natural heritage site where migrant birds as far as Russia & Europe are noted annually. Other places of interest such as Geelbek Restaurant, West Coast National Park and the Postberg Nature Reserve, as well as the Fossil Park are also very popular visits. Our flower-season from Aug to Oct, also known as the Secret Season attracts tourists from all over. This area is also known as the water sport mecca for kite surfers, kayakers, sailing, skiing, scuba diving, snorkelling etc. Anglers can enjoy fishing from the beach or rocks as well as deep sea fishing trips with accredited charter professionals can be arranged.

Stay on this road for about 10km until you enter the town and proceed to the second four way stop. At the second four-way STOP, turn LEFT into SLEIGH STREET. Continue for about 500m up the hill - the road will make a turn to the right; we are situated after the turn (and just before the next stop sign) on the RIGHTHAND side of the road - the house with the purple pillars, 19 Sleigh Street.
