DIRECTIONS TO KAROO VIEW COTTAGES, MAGRIETA PRINSLOO ROAD, PRINCE ALBERT, 350m off the main street – Kerk Straat / Church Street: Contact Numbers: Tel: 023541 1929 or Cell: 082 882 5342 Julie or Richard GPS: 33 degrees 13’08,60”S / 22 degrees 01’26,09”E N1 – At the Prince Albert Road turnoff, travel approx. 45km and as you enter the village from the North side: Drive past the OK and Home Hardware, on your left and as you near the Prickly Pear, on your left you will be coming up to an intersection – keep a look out for our sign KAROO VIEW and MAGRIETA PRINSLOO RD on your right, where you will now turn. Continue to the stop street – 100m – and continue for approx. 350m where you will see our National road sign KAROO VIEW and a few meters further on our gate on the right hand side of the road. (Note that this is a sliding farm gate) Alternative route : N1 from Beaufort West – Prince Albert = 476km south Colesburg and 180km from Beaufort West: * Take the N12 at Beaufort West and travel for approximately – 117 km towards De Rust and Oudtshoorn * 7Km before the hamlet of Klaarstroom and approximately 21km from De Rust you will see a sign board for Prince Albert R407 which will direct you to take a Right turn. (Caution as you come around the corner as I think the sign and turn to the right comes on you immediately) * You will now be traveling through the Prince Albert Valley for approx.47km (which is roughly the same distance you would have traveled from the N1 at Prince Albert Road to Prince Albert). In total the N12 route is actually shorter than staying on the N1 and you should not encounter all the road works and stop goes as well as the heavy traffic and trucks and therefore time wise is shorter and much less stressful. * You will now enter the village from the south side and will continue down the main street – Kerk Straat / Church Street and drive through the village. Look out for the Police Station on your left, as you will to take the next road left – MAGRIETA PRINSLOO RD where you will see our sign KAROO VIEW. Continue to the stop street – 100m – and continue for approx. 350m where you will see our National road sign KAROO VIEW and a few meters further on our gate on the right hand side of the road. (Note that this is a sliding farm gate) Traveling from the Swartberg Pass / Meiringspoort - South side: You will now enter the village from the south side and will continue down the main street – Kerk Straat / Church Street and drive through the village. Look out for the Police Station on your left, as you will to take the next road left - MAGRIETA PRINSLOO RD where you will see our sign KAROO VIEW. Continue to the stop street – 100m – and continue for approx. 350m where you will see our National road sign KAROO VIEW and a few meters further on our gate on the right hand side of the road. (Note that this is a sliding farm gate) Drive up our driveway and park in the undercover sheltered parking near our Reception, where we will welcome you.
