Hamilton's Tented Camp reflects a safari adventure of the early twentieth century, where grace and style were the epitome luxurious living.Uncompromising elegance and breathtaking beauty indentifies Hamiltons Tented Camp. Six magnificent tented suites complete with teak floorboards, dreamy mosquito nets, slipper baths, outdoor showers and a superb view of the seasonal river are linked to the main lodge area by raised timber walkways amongst ancient Jackalberry trees. The main lodge is home to an inviting lounge, scattered with early 1900’s objet d’art whilst the opulent dining area adds to the delight of this tranquil spot overlooking the river. Rates include accommodation, three meals and two safaris daily in an open 4 x 4 vehicle.

The camp is situated in a Malaria area. Gate entry fees are applicable,charged per person per stay. Kruger National Park Gate Times: 05h30 – 18h30 – January, February, November & December 05h30 – 18h00 – March & October 06h00 – 18h00 – April, August & September 06h00 – 17h30 – May, June & July Guests must enter at Orpen Gate a minimum of 1.5 Hours and Paul Kruger Gate 3 hours before gate closure.If guests are not in time at the respective gates, they will not be permitted to enter the park and they will have to find alternative accommodation for that night.

BY AIR: Daily flights into Hoedspruit and Kruger Mpumalanga International airports. Private Charters available to private airstrip or Skukuza. Lodge can arrange transfers at an additional charge. BY ROAD: After departing from Johannesburg International Airport. Take the R21 highway towards Pretoria (North). Before Pretoria, take the N4 highway East. Turnoff at Belfast, take the R540 towards Dullstroom (approximately 37km). At Dullstroom, take the R540 towards Lydenburg (approximately 43km). At Lydenburg, take the R36 towards Ohrigstad (approximately 62km). At Ohrigstad, take the R527 towards Hoedspruit (Note: You will pass through the JG Strijdom Tunnel). 16km before Hoedspruit at the Reptile Centre, turn right onto the R531 towards Klaserie. After approximately 30km, turn left onto the Orpen Gate Road (R531). After 40km you will reach the Orpen Gate of the Kruger National Park. From Orpen Gate: Take the H7 towards Satara. Drive for approximately 6.7km. Turn right onto the S106 (Dirt Road). After 1.6km, turn right onto the S140 towards Talamati. After 19.5km, turn right onto the S145. After 13kms you will reach a T-junction, turn right onto the S36. 6.5kms further the roads forks, keep right (follow the Hamiltons signage and proceed through the no entry sign). Carry on along this road for 2kms, going through a low water bridge. Approximately 400 meters after the low water bridge turn right at the no entry sign. Take the first road to your right and you will find Hamiltons Tented Camp. From Paul Kruger Gate (Skukuza): Enter Paul Kruger Gate and proceed towards Skukuza (15 km). You will bypass the Skukuza rest camp, follow signs for SATARA. From Skukuza take the H1-2 towards Satara for 25 km. Turn left onto S36 (dirt road) signs will read Imbali Safari Lodge / Hoyo Hoyo Tsonga Lodge / Hamiltons Tented Camp. Continue on this road for 39 km. For Hamiltons Tented Camp continue straight through no entry and follow signs for Hamiltons (2 km)
