The units are basic, fully equipped self-catering units. All units contain bed linen, pillows, 1 duvet per Double bed, duvets and sheets on single beds, ceiling fans, a toaster, a microwave, and at least one colour TV. TV channels SABC 1,2 3,and e,are provided. The units are wired for you to bring your own DSTVU decoder. All units are serviced daily except Sundays and public holidays. There is a private swimming pool with braai facilities as well as braai facilities on either sides of complex. There is one undercover parking bay per unit. The complex is fully enclosed and at night a Security Guard patrols the parking areas and complex. Seafront Units: All have magnificent, 180-degree sea-views. The units are compact and comfortable with interleading rooms. There is one bathroom with a shower, or a bath or a shower over the bath. They are ideally comfortable for 4 to 6 people. Colin Street Flats: The four beautiful units have two bathroom, two bedroom (en-suite with shower, other with bath), with large living area. They are ideal for 4 people but can accommodate up to 6. Garrick Cottage: Accommodates a maximum of 8 people. There are 3 bed-rooms, one of which is interleading to a small room with bunk beds. There are one and a half bathrooms. It is a freestanding cottage containing a garden and braai area that is shared with Shad Cottage. Garrick Cottage overlooks the swimming pool and has a limited sea view. Shad Cottage: This cottage is small, suitable for 2 people. (but can sleep 4) There is a small separate bedroom plus a 2nd small room that serves as a lounge/2nd bedroom. There is a full bathroom and kitchen. It overlooks the swimming pool and shares the enclosed garden and braai area with Garrick Cottage. There is a limited sea view. Bachelor 4 sleeper (101-102): These bachelors consist of 2 interleading rooms and a shower, basin & toilet. The first room has 2 single beds, the inside room contains sleeper couch, microwave, 2 plate hot plate, kettle, toaster and bar fridge and colour TV. Bachelor 2 sleeper (103-104): These units are small, suitable for a maximum of 2 people. There is only 1 room which consists of 2 single beds, microwave, toaster, kettle, 2 plate hotplate, bar fridge and colour TV. There is a separate shower, basin and toilet. There is a sea view from the verandah.

Driftsands Sea View Flats are 50 meters from the sea & across the road from the Uvongo tidal pool. Uvongo bathing beach is a 3-minute walk away and Uvongo’s Business Centre is only one block away. Here you will find a Spar, Bottle Stores, Pharmacy, the Public Library, the Post Office, a petrol/service station, Doctors, a Dentist, Restaurants, etc. For the active holidays there are bowling greens, tennis courts, squash courts, 8 golf courses, a mini putt course, go-carts, surf and rock fishing, ski boat fishing, bird watching and whale watching. The two shopping centers - The Shelly Centre with cinemas and the South Coast Mall – a bird park, a crocodile farm and a game farm cater for a more relaxed holiday. The world famous Oribi Gorge and Nature Reserve and The Wild Coast Casino are easily accessible by car.

Shortly before entering Durban , take the South Coast turnoff to Port Shepstone on the N2. Continue on The N2 , through the Oribi Toll Plaza at Port Shepstone , to the Uvongo/Margate off ramp. Keep left , turn Down towards the sea, traveling until you reach the T-Junction at robots. Turn left and drive to 2nd set of Robots and turn right into colin road after stop street we are 2nd complex on the right hand side. Approximate traveling time from Durban is 1 hour 30 minutes.
