The Lagoon Chalets are a complex of well positioned, self contained holiday bungalows in a quiet secluded area 500 m from Walvis Bay lagoon. They are not far from the local sports club where facilities include bowls, tennis, softball and squash. The golf course and a wide variety of water sports are also close by, and for the fisherman, Paaltjies, one of the prime fishing spots, is a mere 15 km drive away. The fully furnished and equipped chalets, (all that a guests need to bring along are towels, food and of course their private effects) each of which accommodates up to six people, have telephones and colour television with M-Net, as well as stoves, fridges, freezers and all the necessary kitchen equipment - knives, forks, plates, pans etc. Bedding is provided, and some of the chalets have lock up garages. For those without a garage there are mobile alarm sets for the vehicles. The entire premises is fenced in with a electric security fence. At night the entrance gate is manned by security guards. There is a fish cleaning area, a car wash bay and a large walk in freezer room for guests' catch. An a la carte restaurant and cocktail bar with pool table and a sportsman theme - various TV's showing sports videos etc. are also on the premises.
