You will find a fully equipped, luxurious tented camp with lapa and boma in the dry river bed among the dunes and camel thorn trees. AREA INFORMATION
Elogia is situated on a 45 000 hectare (11 1150 acre) Kalahari hunting concession along the border of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. The Auob River, which is dry for most of the time, passes through this hunting area. The luxury Tented Camp between camel thorn trees with Lapa and Boma offers cosy accommodation. All 4 tents have double rooms en-suite and are far enough from each other for absolute privacy. The Lapa provides a bar, dining and lounge facilities, while the boma provide outdoor barbeque and enjoyment for star-lit evenings. Wildlife is abundant and includes Gemsbok(Oryx), Eland, Springbok, Red Hartebeest, Duiker, Steenbok, Black-Backed Jackal, Cape fox, Bat-Eared Fox, Caracal, Brown Hyaena, Aardwolf, Porcupine, Pangolin, African wild cat, Black-footed Cat, Antbear and other smaller mammals. Lion, Cheetah and spotted Hyaena also pass through occasionally. Animal noises can often be heard creating a true african atmosphere. Larger bird species include Wild Ostrich and Cori Bustard, four Vulture and numerous species of birds of prey can be observed. Although they permanently inhabit this hunting concession, crossing from the border park regularly occurs.

From Windhoek travel to Rehoboth on to Mariental. About 5km before Mariental there is a left turn to Stampriet. At Stampriet follow the road to Ghogas on to the Mata Mata Gate where you will find the Torgos Hunting Safaris farm.
