Camelthorn Lodge is set in a secluded valley between two red Kalahari dunes, and nestled amongst camelthorn trees. Situated amongst the red dunes of the Kalahari Desert this is more than a lodge. Seeming to grow from out of the ground, earth-like walls shaded by thatch symphonise with the natural harmony, much as the Bushman dwellings do. This natural architecture, enhanced with indigenous d?cor, is home to a fine collection of San artifacts. Camelthorn Lodge is set amongst its namesake trees and has numerous luxury chalets. The main lounge, dining area and boma overlook a natural stone pool. Camelthorn lodge can accommodate 20 people in 10 up-market, air-conditioned, en-suite chalets. A thatched lounge and boma overlook a natural stone pool in an area that provides the ideal habitat for leopard and a variety of birds.
